The Fortigate FG50B replaced the Fortigate 50A in 2007, offering more ports and an internal switch. The internal switch cannot be used as individual ports as the FG-60B, FG100A and the FG200A can. Newer future firmware will not solve this, the limitation is in the chipset of the internal switch. The FortiWifi 50B is the wifi version of the FG-50B. The supported WiFi standards are 801.11b and 801.11g (2.4 Ghz - 11 Mb and 54 Mb speed), special is the capability of having max. 4 SSID's. Each SSID will show up as a seperate interface.

The rule of thumb for this model is max 25 users.

The suitable FortiRack model is RM-FR-T1. But keep in mind you need to use pigtails (extender) to place the antenna outside your 19 inch rack.
